X-RAY
Beta · S&P 500

See what the ticker hides.

X-Ray lays each company's balance sheet, debt, dilution and board over its stock price, read straight from SEC filings and rebuilt every night.

Bones

Price vs. the books

How far the share price sits above what the accounts say the company is worth, quarter by quarter.

Health

Debt, dilution, red flags

Debt coming due, shares that could be added, Z-scores, cash vs. profit, auditor changes and late filings.

Board

Who's really in charge

Directors with private equity ties, who controls the vote, insider buying and selling, and CEO pay vs. returns.

Android beta

Test X-Ray before it launches

Sign up and start testing right away. Android testers get the app from Google Play; on iPhone, X-Ray runs in Safari. Everything is free during the beta.

The beta and the first live version cover all S&P 500 companies. After launch, X-Ray will add every U.S.-listed company, about 6,000 in all.

X-Ray describes what filings say. It isn't investment advice.

Android: use the Google account signed in to the Play Store on your phone (usually your Gmail). Google Play only lets Google accounts join the beta.

iPhone

On an iPhone? Use X-Ray in Safari

The iPhone app comes later. Until then, the same X-Ray runs in Safari with the same account. Open it, then tap Share and Add to Home Screen to keep it next to your apps.

Works on any phone or computer. Everything is free during the beta.
